VW Transporter T5 / T6 rear chassis and shock absorber corrosion / rust - read this
As time marches on, the VW Transporter T5 / T5.1 / T6 etc are starting to do what all cars and vans eventually do - RUST
On the T5 2003 - 2015 (at the time of writing this), the rear shock absorber mounting section of the chassis rots.
There's not much that can be done except cut out the rotten part and weld in the new bits.
We supply the repair panels (normally from stock).
