Transporter T5.1 / T6 alternator belt tensioner kits

These are a very very common failure.

You're driving along in your VW Transporter T5.1 / T6 2.0 TDI and suddenly the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree and the power steering goes dead.

Chances are the multi-ribbed belt that drives the alternator, air-con (if you've got it) and power steering pump has snapped.

It's probably snapped due to the tensioner failing.
