Left & Right explained
This page explains what we mean when we say 'Left headlight' or 'Right brake caliper'.
Car and van parts are always determined from the position of sitting in the car facing forwards
So, a front LEFT headlight is the headlight that is on the LEFT HAND SIDE as you sit in the car
For the UK this is also known as PASSENGER SIDE, or NEARSIDE (because it's the side facing the kerb
For RIGHT HAND SIDE items, these are on the right as you are sat in the car facing forwards
This is also known as UK DRIVERS SIDE, or OFFSIDE
PLEASE NOTE, the opposite applies for cars in Europe, the USA or any other counties that drive on the right hand side of the road
We are happy to help identify the correct part and correct side for your model, all you have to do is contact us
