Floor mat fixings explained

When fitting accessory or retro-fit carpet or rubber mats to your car or van, it's important to check what type of fixings you have in your carpet already (a lot of vehicles have factory-fitted locating lugs in the carpet)

For VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT there are two main types of fixings, oval (or twist) or round (stud)

With this Oval / Twist type, you put the carpet mat over the top of these and twist the top to lock them in place.

With the 2nd type shown below (stud type) you simply push the carpet onto them and 'snap' them in place.

Please check which fittings you have before ordeirng carpet or rubber mats from us.
